On 8/15/09 we enjoyed a week at the Worldmark Lake Ozarks.
The resort is located on a large cove with a beautiful view of the state park. While there we enjoyed a couple boat rides with our neighbors from back home who have a condo on the lake. We also enjoyed doing some shopping, drives around the lake, and the famous Randy's frozen custard. Click here to experience the beautiful view from our resort
On 8/30/09 we drove to Branson Mo. to enjoy a week of gospel music at Silver Dollar City.

We stayed at the Stonebridge Resort which is beautiful golf resort near Silver Dollar City. We also did some shopping in Branson and enjoyed having dinner with Marlene's brother and his wife.
On 9/13/09 we flew to San Francisco for a enjoyable 5 day stay. We took the Bart subway system for the airport to the Wyndham Canterbury resort which was located in the heart of the city only 3 blocks for the cable car line.
The resort was opened in June after the Canterbury Hotel was remodeled into beautiful timeshare units. See photos below. Video
After getting settled in we took a short walk to the Cable Car route to enjoy a fun ride to Fisherman's Wharf to see the sights and enjoy a nice dinner.

On Monday we enjoyed a great tour south along the coast to Monetary, Carmel, and Pebble Beach.

On Tuesday we headed for Muir Woods to enjoy the giant redwoods and then stopped at the beautiful bay at Sausalito for lunch.

After lunch we enjoyed the San Francisco City Tour which gave us a great overview of the entire city. Video

Thursday we enjoyed a visit to the Napa Valley and Sonoma to enjoy visits to 3 winery's and lunch in Sonoma. On our return we crossed the Golden Gate for a clear view of the city.

We used Tower Tours for all of our tours. They did a fantastic job.
On 1/31/09 we left Port Canaveral for a 7 day Eastern Caribbean Cruise on the Disney Magic. We were joined by two couples who we work with at Disney while spending our winters in Florida. The cruise included stops and St. Crux, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay which is Disney's private island. We had a great time with fantastic food and great shows on the ship and nice visits to the various islands.
On 5/21/09 we were joined by three couples from Michigan. We all work at Disney's Wide World of Sports each winter. We enjoyed the Dells river cruise and a trip to The House on the Rock which is also in the area. It was a great reunion. Click here for a video of the Dells river cruise.
On 7/19/09 we enjoyed our 2nd annual family reunion at the Wyndham Glacier Canyon Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. We shared a beautiful 4 bedroom penthouse. Needless to say the kids and grand kids had a wonderful time with all the water parks available at the resort. It was a great family time. Click here to view the highlights of the resort.
