Wyndham Canterbury, San Francisco, CA (9/13/09)








On 9/13/09 we flew to San Francisco for a enjoyable 5 day stay. We took the Bart subway system for the airport to the Wyndham Canterbury resort which was located in the heart of the city only 3 blocks for the cable car line.




     

The resort was opened in June after the Canterbury Hotel was remodeled into beautiful timeshare units. See photos below.  Video


After getting settled in we took a short walk to the Cable Car route to enjoy a fun ride to Fisherman's Wharf to see the sights and enjoy a nice dinner.

On Monday we enjoyed a great tour south along the coast to Monetary, Carmel, and Pebble Beach.

On Tuesday we headed for Muir Woods to enjoy the giant redwoods and then stopped at the beautiful bay at Sausalito for lunch.

After lunch we enjoyed the San Francisco City Tour which gave us a great overview of the entire city.  Video

Wednesday took us to Yosemite National Park. What a gorgeous place. Video



Thursday we enjoyed a visit to the Napa Valley and Sonoma to enjoy visits to 3 winery's and lunch in Sonoma. On our return we crossed the Golden Gate for a clear view of the city.
