Raintree's Sandcastle at Birch Bay,WA (10/04/09)

On 1/04/09 we moved next door to the Raintree Sandcastle at Birch Bay resort. This was a beautiful resort which very nicely furnished units. See photo's below.

We enjoyed a drive into Canada to visit the beautiful Minter Gardens at Rosedale BC. Video



On the way back from the gardens we took a drive up to the Mt. Baker Ski area.

Another day we enjoyed driving south to the Anacortes Marina, La Conner, and Deception Pass.

Just a short drive north of the resort was the beautiful Peace Arch on the US/Canada border.
