On Jan. 18, 2003 we headed from Coronado to the Palm Springs area staying at the Welk Desert Oasis. This is a beautiful golf resort in Cathedral City which is a suburb of Palm Springs. During our stay we enjoyed the beautiful weather, scenery, swimming, walks on the golf course, shopping etc. The resort also had lots of activities which we enjoyed.
After an enjoyable week in the Palm Springs area we headed for home by way of Phoenix to visit neighbors who spend their winters in Arizona.
