On 5/06/06 we moved across the street to the Kona Hawaiian Village Resort. This is a beautiful resort on a hillside directly across the street from the ocean. The resort is a replica of a turn of the century Hawaiian village. The units are beautiful and nicely furnished as shown in the photos below. Click here for a tour of the resort.
We enjoyed the many activities at the resort. The wonderful staff treated us like family.
We enjoyed a flight over the island to see the sights including the Kilauea Volcano
We also enjoyed an afternoon of snorkeling near the Captain Cook Memorial on the famous Kealakekua Bay. Click here to see the beautiful fish and coral found in Kealakekua Bay.
